In August I was out in a sunflower field south of my home in southeast Michigan. A beautiful, restful day, out in the countryside, is so much my happy place. I had a small piece of paper to the right of my larger piece and so as I contemplated one, I would work on the other. I just wanted a simple image of the happy flowers facing the sun.
