A few years ago, I did a series of about 6 pastels from the area in Ypsilanti, MI called Depot Town. There is wonderful architecture in this old area of town. The train roars through like clockwork. The old Farm Bureau Structures are abandoned. I am always drawn to these places. We just let them crumble into the ground. Look at the shapes and shadows. It is just grand to look at it against the blue sky of that day.
