This red house is a favorite spot in Cross Village. I asked the owner if I could come onto her land and paint the house. It just had drawn me to it for several years, so on one of our plein air sessions sponsored by Three Pines Studio, I decided this was the day I would indeed paint this site. This piece was in the fall juried member exhibit of the Great Lakes Pastel Society. The awards ceremony was September 18, 2021 and I was awarded an honorable mention for The Red House!! Thank you Joann at Three Pines Studio for finding my red house a permanent home.
